Expansion CVB in the UK

CVB Ecologistics, with head office as well as a production facility in Tilburg, the Netherlands, has taken over the activities of Planet Recycling in Liverpool, England. Planet Recycling is a recovered paper company with security shredding as core business and is a major player in that sector with a volume of 6000 tons per year. With 10 employees in total, Planet is mainly active in the North-West region in England. The company is ISO 9001 certified.
The aim is to extend the activities of the Liverpool subsidiary with more collection and processing of other grades of recovered paper and plastics. The potential therefore is available in Liverpool with 300.000 inhabitants and the ample processing capacity of Planet Recycling.
Early this year the new premises on a greenfield site, built by Dutch company Valeres, Best, of the first English subsidiary of CVB Ecologistics came in use, located in Hinckley, East Midlands. The investment totaled £ 3 million.

With the two English sites and the 4 Dutch and 5 Belgian ones, CVB Ecologistics is now active with 11 production sites in collecting, processing and trade of recovered paper and plastics in the North-West European region, In 2012 the activities in recovered paper were extended to plastics as well, processing recycled plastics into raw material such as compounds and regranulates. Expected turnover for this year is € 75 million, realized by 135 people
